I spent $8600 CAD for some barstools for my new business and told them I needed them in 3 - 4 weeks as my business is set to open, I was assured what I wanted was in stock and everything would be fine so I paid in full for my order... I got an email a week later telling me they do not have what i ordered in stock and have no ETA as to when they will get more.
it was a hassle to cancel my order and get my money back as they tried to push other styles on me instead. I also felt weird about the fact the business is called Restaurant Furniture CANADA and they are not canadian, and dont even have a warehouse in Canada... It was then I decided to look up some reviews and was terrified with what I had stumbled across. I learned a valuable lesson and will always be checking reviews from now on before ordering!
seems like this company has no redeeming qualities and for that reason I decided to take my business elsewhere...
they sent me my money back but told me the conversion rate wasnt the same anymore ( a week later) and I have lost out on $600 CAD. I would advise staying away from this business.

I ordered for the first time 2 years ago and the service and the quality of the tables were so good. I needed to order 2 extra tables.
The delivery was more expensive than the tables. What I understand is that they come from the United States. Both of the tables were damaged upon arrival (grooved scratches) and the colour wasn't the same as the first walnut tables I got. This wasnt a slight variation as is the case with wood.
The original tables are a rich brown with some gloss. The new tables were almost a black wood and a matte finish. I took pictures of them and sent to your company and spoke with representative _____ who apologized and explained she would contact the manufacturer. I waited for almost 3 months for an answer so I called back and the very first thing the rep said was there is nothing they can do.
On top of that questioned my needs. I wanted to explain my situation to find resolution and the guy on phone told me I interrupted him and from that point he wouldn't let speak. I asked for a manager. Eric came on the phone and he came out swinging right away and was so rude and told me that there is nothing he would do.
After I went and read a lot of reviews and Erics name is everywhere with complaints. Customer service didn't even know where my emails went (4 of them). Its very sad that you do not stand by the quality of your products and that cutomer service blames the customer and/or offers an indifferent attitude to resolution.
I do not recommend this company and the worst is how they make you feel for something that your fault. The tables were damaged in transit and were sent out as a different colour than what was ordered but we are out the money and have damaged and mismatched colour tables.

JUST THE WORST
I am designing a restaurant in BC and was initially mislead by the company name- leave it an American enterprise to name their company something misleading.
I am a very seasoned buyer, as my job. .
I buy items very diligently. I dont blindly order things online, I do not like to shop online as I like to touch things, test them and make sure I can see the finish etc.
I called and spoke to a sales rep, Stan, more than 3 times asking for all the specs on their 'navy' stool, a replica of the Emeco chair. He told me the finishes was a UV coat on steel ( which I wanted and liked ) I asked the weight capacity for the stools, he ensured me they were good for 500lb "New Yorkers".
I received the items ,which were vastly different -------
silver powder coated ( painted, essentially) and the back had a different design. They have different feet which will not work well on our concrete floors.
I chose pieces with plastic glides/ feet so there wouldn't be any scraping sounds.

WORST CUSTOMER RESPONSE EVER. Sarcastic, super aware of their verbiage should there be a lawyer inserted into the scene.
Constantly asking if I " was happy and would like to keep them?"
I kept answering" no, never have I been happy with these, but my hands are tied due to timeline.
they offered a rebate to our company $250.00
the order was $5000.00
they sent an imposter product, mislead me completely both on the phone and the stool is still on their website!!
NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FROM THEM. and to boot, you cannot leave a google review about them - they have made sure of this.

Worst Experience Ever!
First off, this company is not a Canadian company. They are a US company under the guise of a Canadian company.
We ordered tables and chairs for a restaurant that was opening at the end of June. We received a delivery date, which was not followed through on. The company told us that they would provide us wih compensation for the delay. The furniture finally arrived three weeks late, although two pieces of furniture (two booths) were severely damaged, and 12 chairs didn't show up.
They refused to take responsibility for the damaged furniture, and it took another two weeks for the missing furniture to show up. We dealt with their customer service department on several occasions (specifically someone named Alberto), who fed us lies about arrival dates and compensation for over a month.
In the end, we are not getting compensated, nor did we feel they cared about our complaints to begin with. This is a piece of *** company and my recommendation is to go through any one else to get your furniture, unless you're in the market to get jerked around.
